Do I need a lawyer?
If you are signing a document or taking any other action that has the potential of binding you legally, financially, morally, or in any manner whatsoever, don't let the next question you ask yourself be, "Should I have signed this?" nor the next comment, "I wish I had asked ...".
Business, family, and organizational relationships are complicated matters and the law surrounding them is complex and ever changing. As businesses operate, families grow and evolve, and organizations expand and condense, people focus on their immediate lives rather than on keeping abreast with all of the laws that may and do impact transactions, estates, wills, monetary exchanges, employment, or labor issues. That is what they expect their professionals, doctors, accountants and attorneys to do for them and to do it in an understandable and cost effective way. That is what we do for our clients.
It is our responsibility to help you find ways to anticipate your legal needs, to accomplish your goals and to develop strategies that will help you avoid or overcome legal pitfalls. Does that mean we are geniuses? No, it means that we have the knowledge and experience in this area to help you. Whether your situation involves your business, purchase of real estate, employment or labor issues, marriage or premarital agreements, wills, trusts, or any other significant decision, making better decisions matters.
Often the most important thing that a client says to us is:
" I didn't think of that question."
That is our job.
